Farewell Steve Jobs Apple Co-Founder Now Dead

Steve Jobs has been battling cancer for years.  Everyone knew his condition was gettign worse when he took a medical leave last January and finally stepped down from Chief Executive on August handing the position to Tim Reins.   Steve Jobs died Wednesday October 5, 2011.  His death was announced by his family through an official statement in Apple:
"died peacefully today surrounded by his family...We know many of you will mourn with us, and we ask that you respect our privacy during our time of grief."

He was just 56 years old when he died.  Then again, he was just 21 years old, when he and friend Steve Wozniak founded Apple Computer Inc. in the his family garage in 1976.  The guy is a pure genius. Without him, our computers and gadgets will never look as aesthetically as beautiful as they are today.

Apple fans are grieving over his death.  A lot of people have extended their condolence to the great innovator.   Apple has made an official webpage for him and request people to share their thoughts, memories, and condolences through email rememberingsteve@apple.com.

Microsoft Founder Bill Gates made an official statement:
I’m truly saddened to learn of Steve Jobs’ death. Melinda and I extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends, and to everyone Steve has touched through his work. Steve and I first met nearly 30 years ago, and have been colleagues, competitors and friends over the course of more than half our lives. The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come. For those of us lucky enough to get to work with him, it’s been an insanely great honor. I will miss Steve immensely.
I've always looked up to him for his great ideas, passion and hard work and will surely miss him.  I know there are others like me and many more in the future because Steve Jobs will forever be remembered and mentioned in our history.  Farewell Steve Jobs.
