Titus Pens iDoodle Battle of the Champions 2015 and Titus iDoodle Pasko sa ‘Pinas On-the- Spot Ballpen Art Contest

I've always known that we have a lot of talented Filipino doodlers.  But, I didn't realize that there are so many young artists until I attended the Titus Pens iDoodle Battle of the Champions 2015 event held at SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.

Lots of doodlers from all over the country have gathered to show off their skill.  The contest judges were: Nedalin Miranda,  Senior Convention Services Officer, Department of Tourism - Tourism Promotions Board, actor-artist Hero Angeles, artist Andre Manguba, founder of  Doodle Arts Enthusiasts Lei Melendres and Marvel and DC comics artist Harvey Tolibao.

There are actually 2 contests: Titus Pens iDoodle Battle of the Champions 2015 and Titus iDoodle Pasko sa ‘Pinas On-the- Spot Ballpen Art Contest

Chef Chavi Romawac is the speaker for the Titus Colors Doodle4Food.  He is a freelance chef with his own company MyChef Romawac.

We were taught on how to cut the piping bag in 4 different ways to create different styles.

Then, we were asked to doodle on a sheet of paper.  I didn't or couldn't do this within the time frame given... But, here's my friend Anne's masterpiece.

Next, we had to decorate a paper cup.

Janeil Arlegui co-founder of Urban Sketchers Philippines shared some techniques on how to sketch.  He showcased some of his work.  Ironically, this is my favorite among his sketches because this is his portayal of his son.

Spearheading the Doodle4Hobby is Harvey Tolibao of Marvel and DC comics.  All the artists are amazing!  There can quickly create a superhero using the Titus Gel.

To be honest, I'm not much of a pen artist as I'm more into photography.  But, attending this event has opened my mind to what I can do with a simple pen and paper.
