SM City Pampanga is the
Philippines' longest mall. But, the mall doesn't just boast of its length,
SM City Pampanga also highlights that Kapampangan's are very fashionable with its regular monthly
#PampangaIsMyRunway fashion show.
For the year-ender finale, they made it more special with 100 models (some of which are winners of the
Pampanga is My Runway Photocontest) to showcase various brands including
Me&U,
Lhasa,
Apple & Eve, Mags,
Cotton On and
Uniqlo.
I was able to witness it for myself and i swear I have never encountered a fashion.runway as agile and lively as this! The show had a cool introduction with the remixes by
DJ Ace Ramos at the
SM City Pampanga Annex 3. Soon, 100 beautiful and handsome models entered the scene gleefully rallying placards of either "
#PampangaIsMyRunway" or the brands they represent.
Models for each brand collection had their turn to walk on the ramp.
The shoppers, supporters and fashion enthusiasts all gathered around cheering wildly, photographing non-stop and admiring the style and colors of the fashion rally.
What make's this fashion show unique is that it parades around 4 parts of the mall:
Annex 3,
Main Mall Atrium,
Annex 1 and
Cyberzone with a band drumming at the back.
There was also a dance number that was performed upon reaching the
Main Mall Atrium.

The audience are scattered all over the mall. Some chose to watch from the top floors, others waited by the 4 stations. While, most chose to join in on the joyful rally.
It was amazing to watch as you can feel the rush and synergy of the models and the tide of crowd flowing through the long mall. I found myself immersed in the celebration as I too felt the rush of excitement as I participated and became part of it.

It went on for two rounds. The first round ended at the
Cyberzone and the second round was in reverse.
