Using Sparklers for Wedding Ceremonies

Pyrotechnics vendors may ask event planners to "contact us" for the sparklers that add a bit of magic to a wedding ceremony. They are a step above the tossing of rose petals or the releasing of butterflies. As handheld treats, sparklers are a way for everyone in the audience to participate in the ceremony. There are other applications, however, where they seem to make their biggest light.

Some brides and grooms choose to put their sparklers on the wedding cake. This moment is one of the highlights of the reception. It is the time for iconic photographs and the bride and groom to have some playful interaction with one another. What better way to signal the arrival of this moment than with sparklers fizzing from the cake. It heightens the excitement of the guests.

Another way to use sparklers for a wedding ceremony is to signal the send-off of the bride and groom after the reception is over. Whether there is a limousine waiting or the couple has a car of its own, sparklers can light the path the leads away from the festivities. This is an installation that should probably be completed by a professional who understands local fireworks laws and who is trained in pyrotechnics safety. Sparklers should be kept away from high grass and flammable materials, and they should never be left unattended.

One other way sparklers have been used by wedding attendees is on the dance floor. It is romantic to see couples moving lights across the floor as music plays gently in the background. This can make the guests feel like they are having their first dance along with the bride and groom.

Add Color and Glow To Every Party You Throw

We all need some time to chill, let loose and deestress from our lame and boring work or school life.  How do we do that?  We party!!!  There are so many occasions where we can celebrate: New Year's Eve, Valentines Day, Singles Awareness Day, Graduation, Spring Ball, School Opening, Prom, Halloween, Birthdays, Baptism, Community Gatherings, Thanks Giving, Christmas and more!  And, even if there's no occasion, we can always find a reason to take a break right? 

I know we all have our own style of hosting our party.  Some prefer it outdoors picnic style with all the blankets, baskets and sandwiches under the sun.  Or, you can bring your food and take your party in the beach if you like so you can swim and play beach volleyball.  If you like those, I won't cramp your style. 

But, I'm a creature of the dark and I like night party more!   It can be at home, outdoors, park, in the beach or anywhere you can imagine.  My kind of party comes with a loud music, booze and lot of colored lights!  But, what even makes the celebration more colorful and lively are glow bracelets!  Glow bracelets are so cool!  You can intensify your fashion with those.  Choose a color that matches your clothes or go crazy with the randomness of your color variations.   Wearing them can intensify your dance appeal and confidence too.  A good way to make a lasting impression is to create cool glow patterns with your dance moves.  Even if you're not into dancing, I still wouldn't want to be caught in a party without one.   So, if you're throwing a party!  Be sure to add color and glow with glow bracelets!

Keds: Status Earthly Delights Party at Skye Lounge

Last Saturday, I was invited to the Status Earthly Delights Party at Skye Lounge by Keds.  I decided to drop by and check out the fun.

There's a photo booth and unlimited Magnum Ice Cream (see separate entry).  I had the chocolate truffle and the magnum classic.  Yum!

I love the creativity they put into the table decor.

Did I mention it was a wet and wild party?  There were water guns in every table.  Party peeps were chasing and squirting one another.

What's a wet and wild party without a pool?  The rain and cool winds did not stop the crowd from taking a dip in the pool.

Of course, the main purpose of the party is helping others.  Keds auctioned a couple of custom sneakers designed by CJ De Silva and Soleil Ignacio for the benefit of our co-earth dwellers everywhere.

The Keds sneakers were auctioned at a starting price of 1,600 php.  Too bad I didn't get to watch the end result because I had to leave for a family dinner.

Keds sneakers were hanged up for display.  The Haribon Foundation has also set up a booth to selling seeds and help populate the planet with more flora and fauna.
