And, since its our midterms, I'll let my photos show you what happened.  Photos taken via phone and it was very dark so my apologies for the quality.

Crossing the muddy creek (Lot's of gentlemen helping out the ladies). There's a tire obstacle before this!

All of us were surprised at this point that we entered into a real Martial Law Experience

Mud, barricade and splinters don't stop us!

Easiest task is to walk the plank (See our cheery faces!)

Tear gas and fire truck dispersal team ahead!  Haha my friend thought the tear gas was real so he spent a few seconds more exposing himself there and wondered why he didn't get teary!!!

Maersk Line: Make the World Your Work Place (Job Fair: Job Opportunity)

Maersk Line is actually my first employer.  It gave me a great first job experience.

But, first let me share to you a bit of information about Maersk.  Maersk Line is just part of the very big Maersk Group.  The Maersk Group is a worldwide conglomerate and operates in some 130 countries with a workforce of over 89,000 employees. Although known worldwide as the world’s largest shipping companies, Maersk is also involved in a other related activities such as logistics, and the oil and gas industries.

The Maersk Company Limited is a division of the global AP Moller-Maersk Group which currently employs more than 110,000 people across over 125 countries. The Group was founded in Denmark in 1904. Its Head Office is in London and it also has 20 offices across the UK and Ireland. It’s one of the UK’s largest ship-owners, established in the UK over 50 years ago.

What I love about the company is that they offer a clear progressive opportunity.  But, of course, they only recruit the very best!  And, if you're qualified, then you'll reap a lot of benefits.

Interested?  Well, I have great news for you!  Maersk Filipinas Crewing Inc. (MFCI) is looking for Chief Engineers, 2nd Engineers, Chief Officers, and Electrical Engineers. As they embark on the next phase of their unrivalled new build programme, they will need to recruit the very best. As part of their efforts of looking for the best candidates on the said areas, MFCI will be holding job fairs in the country.
